How You Met Me
For most of you, this is the only way you will ever get to know me.

“Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one’s head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. To forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace.”
                                                         - Oscar Wilde

Two more days and it would have been 2 years exactly since I had first taken this picture. I remember it perfectly it was my Mom’s birthday and we had just finished eating at a buffet. One more month would have been his and my Lola’s 50th wedding anniversary, we had started planning everything. No one knew it would happen so soon.
My Lolo was a sweet man; he was the perfect grandfather, always wanted everybody to be happy, often found telling jokes however inappropriate, he was always in sports gear matching from head to toe…even if he wasn’t a fan of the team. He loved dancing and was always the first to have food on the plate whether or not people had finished setting everything up.
You’ve probably never met him, never got to know him, obviously never got to love him as much as I do, but he was such a special person to me, that I felt that everybody should know a little bit about him.
